After a blistering end to 2016, Rhythm Section INTL begins its 2017 schedule with a second outing from local Peckham duo FYI Chris.

The pair have clearly been hard at work in the studio in between shifts at Rye Wax since their last EP for RS INTL - the production on ‘Snafubar’ demonstrates a matured approach and a further honing of their signature sound.

Sitting firmly left of centre, these 4 tracks manage the very difficult task of being both unconventional and highly functional dancefloor cuts. Recommended for fans of similarly difficult-to-categorise artists such as Red Axes, Axel Boman and Baba Stiltz. Sit Back and let Chris and Chris take you for a ride!

The second EP from FYI Chris on Rhythm Section it’s got those rough-hewn percussive elements that characterise the Chris’ productions, with a strong melodic core that typifies Bradley Zero’s A&Ring. Cowbell trills, a Caribbean patois and wandering bassline are cleverly employed into a multi-layer arrangement that offers much to focus on and plenty to revisit, review and repeat.
